Restore 94 Closures Advisory
DEARBORN, Mich. – Pavement repair work on westbound I-94 will bring significant lane reductions this weekend, with only one lane open between Oakwood Boulevard and Wayne Road.
The closure begins Friday night and continues through early Monday morning, and drivers should expect delays while traveling through the construction zone. Motorists are urged to plan ahead, allow extra time, and use caution in the area.

Restore 94 Closures Advisory
DEARBORN, Mich. – Utility work near Metro Airport will require intermittent full closures of I-94 this weekend as crews install overhead cables. On Saturday and Sunday mornings, both eastbound and westbound I-94 between Middlebelt and Inkster roads will experience multiple closures lasting up to 15 minutes at a time. These temporary shutdowns are expected to impact traffic heading to and from Detroit Metropolitan Airport.
Drivers should plan ahead, anticipate delays during the closure windows, and use caution when traveling through the area.

Restore 94 Update Advisory
DEARBORN, Mich. – The Restore94 project continues with multiple lane closures, ramp shutdowns, and traffic shifts impacting I-94, M-39/Southfield Road, and surrounding roadways through the weekend and into early summer.
This weekend, westbound I-94 between Oakwood Boulevard and US-24/Telegraph will be reduced to one lane, while additional ramp closures and detours begin Monday. Ongoing work also includes lane restrictions on I-94 service drives, closures along Wayne Road, and ramp shutdowns affecting connections to M-39 and Van Born Road.
Drivers should expect delays, follow posted detours, and allow extra time when traveling through the corridor.

Restore 94 Update Advisory
DEARBORN, Mich. – The Restore94 project has crews working on I-94 and M-39/Southfield. Plus, utility crews will be closing 94 this Sat and Sun for :15 min periods. And crews will be blocking a lane on EB/WB I-94 from I-275 to US-12/Michigan Avenue to build up the shoulders of I-94 to handle future traffic once traffic is shifted to begin the reconstruction in late July.

Ramp work begins at I-94/M-39 (Southfield Freeway) interchange with closures
DEARBORN, Mich. – The Michigan Department of Transportation’s (MDOT) Restore94 project to repair and rebuild I-94 between I-275 and US-12 (Michigan Avenue) at the Dearborn/Detroit border will resume with work beginning at the
I-94/M-39 (Southfield Freeway) interchange in early March and continuing throughout the 2026 construction season.

- EB I-94, US-24/Telegraph to M-39/Southfield, will have 2 lanes open till 6am Sat.
- WB I-94, Oakwood Blvd to M-39/Southfield, will have 2 lanes open till 6am Sat.
- Pelham Rd ramp to EB I-94 CLOSED till 5am Mon.
Beginning 6am Saturday, 4/18 – 5am Monday, 4/20:
- EB I-94, US-24/Telegraph to M-39/Southfield, will have 1 LANE OPEN.
- WB I-94, Oakwood Blvd to M-39/Southfield, will have 1 LANE OPEN.
